Leslie Wind makes some very unique shawl pins. I own 2 or 3 at this time and will own more down the road. She called me today to let me know about her newest creation. I will be test driving this soon and will let you all know what I think. Good job Leslie!!

The never ending winter
Our yard as of April 14.
In front of the garage.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
One week later, after 60-80 degree days.
Behind the house and between the house + garage.
Coming to the front deck and then looking up beside the driveway.
My lilies in front of the deck and chives beside the deck are coming up.

The melted spot next to the drive is the leech field.
Still a lot of snow in front of the house from the roof.

The melted circle is the septic tank.

The side pasture. Looking towards the garage, and then back at the grass and the poplars and white pine that we planted 3-4 years ago. The mice/moles had fun under the snow this year.
If we decide to not to sell, the first thing I'd do is change the ugly garage roof and side it. (o;
Stinging nettles and thistles have shown up. Darn!
The garlic is up as well as the irises. Hopefully this means no more snow.
What a week!!
Jerry had taken vacation time last week (April 13-19) and every day we were on the road shearing. He went back to work Monday (21st) and we have been out every afternoon shearing. We will go out again tonight and the rest of this week and next week are already booked solid. I am taking this morning to get caught up on all my computer work, which includes my blogs.
But, I first want to thank EVERYONE that has hired Jerry to shear!!! Not only is it a good learning experience for him, but the extra money has really helped with all the extra bills that have come in. We have gotten up close and 'personal' with a lot of breeds that we have only seen pictures of and met so many NICE people!! No, I did not get pictures of any of these farms. I was too busy helping and/or teaching.
But there will be pictures of this farm and some of our travelling sights in the next post. I just need to get them off the camera.
