Every 4 years we have leap year, we get another day to do what we love, another day to share God's grace and forgiveness with each other, another day to ask forgiveness of each other and of God, another day to show our love to one another, another day to help out those we might not generally help out...and many more I am not able to think of just now.
So. Take advantage of this day and love those around you, forgive those you need to forgive (including yourself), and help someone out. But, most of all, love yourself and do what you love!

My favorite Christian radio station, both at home on the web and in the car. http://thelightradio.net/
91.7, 91.9, and 91.1 FM. For those who want to hear more about God's love, grace and forgiveness.
Most of you know that I confess to being a Born again Christian and that I am FAR from being perfect! That is why I like the bumper sticker that says, 'Christian's aren't perfect, just forgiven.' The following explain more about my beliefs.

Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned against you and that my sins separate me from you. I am truly sorry. I now want to turn away from my sinful past and turn to you for forgiveness. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, that He was raised from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become my Savior and the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You and to convict me when I sin. I pledge to grow in grace and knowledge of you. My greatest purpose in life is to follow your example and do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Lamb shots (Picture heavy)
Heifer-'What do mean? You don't want me? You want the baby...?'
Heifer's son. The blanket is to keep the wind from the lambing pen, not for the lamb's to sleep on...
The boy's won't keep their door shut.
Cloud, a Romney wether, with a lamb eating his hair/wool.
Later, Abraham and Cloud believe they need to keep an eye on Jerry improving the creep gate.
Delores and Lizzy plus their lambs
Delores and Lizzie are Border Leicesters that are bordering with us for the winter. They were bred with my silver/gray Romney, Stormy Weather. Daughter Valery named the 2.5# Mary and the 4.5# Millie (from Delores). I name Lizzie's Betsy and brother Ben. We like the Border Leicester/Romney combo for spinning.

OWW!!
I am so glad I am not a chicken, nor a sheep. The egg on the end of my fingers is one of our extra large eggs. This had two egg large yolks and whites in it. Poor bird!

We have GREAT neighbors!
I am very thankful for our neighbor Pebbles. We came home from shearing to find our oldest ewe with her last lamb dried off and fenced off at the end of the barn by themselves. It was dark when we got home so we just made sure it was nursing fed, watered and hayed the flock and came in. We got a phone call while we were out in the barn, and Jerry returned her call and got the news that she indeed did separate her from the rest of the flock. I will look in the morning to see what it is. I am hoping for another ewe from her. We've kept 4 of her ewes so far, and the 3 that have been bred are all excellent mothers. This is the first time, since her very first lambing, that she has given us just a single....So, this is her last lambing. Pictures tomorrow for the blog.
Thanks again Pebbles!!
