It is funny reading through all of these posts/web sites. Some, especially the mills, tell you NOT to use Dawn or Orvus while others use only those cleaners. I am going to wash/soak some of my llama in cold water first to get rid of the dirt. Then, I will use the HOT water and soap.

As nice as it would be for all llamas, and alpacas, to be 'blown out' before shearing, it only seems to happen for those owners who are very serious spinners. So, I will spend a lot of time picky out hay and other VM.
