We have been more than blessed with 'stuff'. I am working first on simplifying our closets and dressers. It is time to bless others with clothes that we will never fit into, or simply is not our style.
I like this blog post about the benefits of minimalism.

I especially like #27-get out of debt. http://www.becomingminimalist.com/benefit-freedom-from-comparison/
I don't know if I will ever get quite as minimalistic as these people, but it would be wonderful to not have to look for ANYTHING again! Everything has its own place. That would be wonderful!! Someday construction will be done here and everything will have its own place!! No more moving things around, except to clean!!!

Q: Why be a minimalist?
A: It’s a way to escape the excesses of the world around us — the
excesses of consumerism, material possessions, clutter, having too much
to do, too much debt, too many distractions, too much noise. But too
little meaning. Minimalism is a way of eschewing the non-essential in
order to focus on what’s truly important, what gives our lives meaning,
what gives us joy and value.
Some day....
Time to go hit my dresser.
TTFN!
