Missing in action

I am on my friend's computer just to let y'all know that my computer is headed for the 'doctors' this week. I may be able to post from here from time to time, but there will be no pictures for a while.

My computer

This is what my computer screen looks like these days... I have a screen saver and it was running when I went to bed. When I got up, this is what I had. If I take a window and try to move it between the stripes, the stripes move with the window.

So, I am saving my pennies for a new laptop...

A day in the life of a substitute Rural Route carrier

Sometimes the roads are long and semi-boring. Sometimes there is construction, electric/utility workers, or tree workers to look out for. Other times there is the wildlife. But, there is always something to look out for.
Including my daughter's non favorite...Spiders. Spiders both on boxes and in boxes. Good thing they don't usually faze me. (o;
Mail bundles.Road grading. Always 'fun' to follow. NOT.

The simple womans daybook

FOR TODAY

Outside my window...it is dark and threatening to rain.

I am thinking...of how to stay cool while delivering mail today.

I am thankful for...my God, my family, my home and my job.

From the learning rooms...(if this applies)

From the kitchen...Coffee is brewed and smells great!! Time for a cup.

I am wearing...A T-shirt and shorts. Haven't finished dressing yet.

I am creating...a hat for a customer, a shawl for myself.

I am going...to work in about an hour, after I go out to the barn. (o;

I am reading...The Vision by Heather Graham.

I am hoping...for a profitable week at farmer's markets.

I am hearing...the news on my TV.

Around the house...happy cats, empty spinning wheels, but full knitting needles...

One of my favorite things...a day with friends knitting or spinning.

A few plans for the rest of the week:Work and farmer's market.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

Beware of My Security Shield

I was blog hopping yesterday and all of a sudden pop ups with screaming (literal) started showing up on my computer telling me that I had serious viruses on my computer. I let it run its course, and then it tells me it wants money (that I don't have) to get rid of it.

So I go to the program to get rid of this program and they want even MORE money!!

This tells you what the program is, and one way to get rid of it.

And this is the program that I used for FREE!
