A few pictures from Farm Days and an update for our next events

Sue King and her alpacas from Skyeview Alpacas
are always a hit. But, she is only there on Saturdays.

Spinners inside one of the barns.

 The parade near closing time.
The smallest one I've seen here.

Trying to capture the yarn colors in the bright
sunshine is like trying to capture an elusive butterfly.

This is the smallest booth set up we've had since we
started vending. And, I broke 2 spinning wheels in 2 days.
The piece that attaches to the foot piece broke on my 25 year
old Louet on Saturday less than an hour into spinning.
It was a original piece. Sunday, a couple hours into spinning,
the drive band broke on a 10 year old Louet.
Thankfully I had my knitting, a drop spindle for demo,
and a good book with me! Always go prepared.

In 32 days we will be setting up in Tunbridge, VT for the

Musterfield Farm

Took a few pictures before farm days starts.
Will take more over the weekend.

Tomorrow morning I will go up early and finish setting up.
Jerry helped me get this far. He will come back Sunday to take it down.

I've not been in the buildings without other people before.
It was nice to be able to take pictures with just the two of us.

I can't imagine the muscles needed to handle
that cattle dehorner. Even the axes are good size!

Hopefully there will be more tractors there tomorrow.
I know my daughter's father is in New Boston at another

Hubby checking out the little tractors.

Map of this weekend's events.
