New year, new cat

This past year was not good for Ewe & I Farm. We lost Jack Black's sibling, Earl Gray, to 'something' from nature. Later in the year, our 13 year old Psycho passed on in the house.

Two weeks ago I stopped at the Wendell Veterinary to see if they had any kittens or cats available. They had a ~2 year old female cat available. She was up-to-date on all her shots, and they had just spayed her 2 days earlier. During the sub-zero time in early January with LOTS of snow, she either got lost or was dumped. The vet's office posted in numerous places about her, but no one responded. So, Cal-Lee Calico came home with me.

Two weeks later, she still growls at Jack. But, not as much. She has gotten a lot calmer, not so jumpy at every sound and movement. Hopefully, she and Jack will get better with time. I just wish that he would pounce her and get it over with.

Cal-Lee Calico is the first calico I have seen with Tabby instead of black.

 Isn't he adorable?!
