Taking advantage of the wet weather...

http://www.wmur.com/article/map-room/4314776

Since I can not work outside, unless I want to be continually wet, I am getting some wool dyeing done. I do already have lots of colors for NH Sheep & Wool next weekend, but not all of the primary colors. So, I am dyeing reds, yellows, and some purple and some orange. I have plenty of blues and greens. I am dyeing both Romney roving and a nice Border Leicester cross washed (not scoured) fleece.

The horse trailer is filled with leakproof totes. Next Friday morning, or Thursday if we can not shear due to wet animals ;) , I will load my van with raw fleeces. Looking forward to festival. Come see us if you can!!
