Day after pictures

I am impressed with our ewes so far this year. We changed their feed this year, and from the condition of these 2 ewes after lambing twins, I am happy. In years past, when the ewes get closer to lambing we would split their grain in half. They get 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night. We used to mix Coarse 16 into the Shepherd 16, but we decided to do something different this year. This year we started giving the girls Soybean meal mixed into their Shepherd 16 went they started breeding. When it got cold, and they started to get closer, we mixed in some fine cracked corn. By the last month, they were getting a mix of Soybean & Corn, 1 part to 3 parts Shepherd split 1/2 and 1/2.
The girls are not all caved in on their sides and showing their hip bones like they have in the past after birthing twins. This is a feeding regiment we will keep as long as they don't have the pasture that they need and deserve.

Moose's twins They've yet to tell me their names...

Tiny cutie. I believe we may be keeping her. Now to name her. Any suggestions? We've decided to name her Scarlett and him Johan.

Look at the wrinkles on him. Another shot of her.

Thank you Kimberly!! I think we will save that for another ewe. Jerry has named her Scarlett and his name is Johann. We just saw a movie with Scarlett Johansson, and that is where the name came from. The next ewe will be snow.
Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be they shall be as white as snow;......
Now the 2 black rams need names.....

They are sooo cute! The lambs don't even look real, they look like little toys. Wish I could touch them. Thanks for sharing.
