Upcoming weather

It looks like going to work tomorrow morning could be fun! But, it is going to warm up. Which means we should be shearing our own this week!! At least the pregnant ones. And, yes, I will be taking and posting pictures.

Issued at: 3:48 am EST on January 28, 2013, expires at: 6:00 AM EST on January 29, 2013

...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 6 am EST Tuesday... The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and ice...which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 6 am EST Tuesday.

Locations...central and southern New Hampshire...and extreme southwestern Maine.

Hazard types...snow and ice.

Accumulations...snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches...along with around a trace of ice.

Timing...snow will begin in New Hampshire in the early afternoon...and spread east. Snow will reach southwestern Maine by the late afternoon or early evening. Snow will wind down from west to east around midnight...ending as a period of freezing drizzle.

Impacts...accumulating snow and a trace of ice will create hazardous travel conditions beginning this afternoon...untreated surfaces will become slippery.

Winds...east 5 to 10 mph.

Temperatures...in the mid 20s. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving. Legro
